I have the robe of folly. Should I use it instead of my current armour? I mainly kill things with Bolt of Cold, if it's cold resistant I use IMB instead. Battlesphere helps, so does Haste. I do not know if this will work against Orbs of Fire, even with rF+++ (which I can get if I wield a shitty randart sabre of rF++ from Elf:3 with my ring of fire protection), but I'm guessing it probably will. OOD sounds pretty good if I happen to find it. Also I found the glaive of prune, but losing a buckler and 20 polearms worth of experience doesn't sound so good to me, what do you think?
Oddly I've had really terrible luck with EA this game, only found three so far, one of which went to my helm and the other two went to gloves that I scrapped. Still have shoals, vaults, late D, and zot to go though.
