11/12/13 :) ;) 15 Rune Octopode Win!
I KNOW I said I wasn't going to play anymore, but. . . . I played this chick pretty much on weekends, and _AFTER_ work. . . .
I remember her being slow 'n steady. The only things that really stick out in my memory---are fighting an invisible Gastronok, and getting the message, "You feel a sudden aversion to salt" (
)---and not getting the necronomicon for FOREVER. (!!) I was at 11 runes, and had already cleared all the hells, before I found one just lying around in pandemonium. (I thought I might have to try to clear the tomb, WITHOUT necromutation---NOT a pleasant thought. (Although, one time I had this uber-octopode, who _might_'ve. . . . . Never found out.)) Do you have ANY IDEA---how tedious it is, to clear the hells WITHOUT necromutation??!! (Well, if you're on this list---you probably do. ) PEACE!!
