I had this weird Idea to dive as a DDNE for Jiyva and weirdly, it worked. but also weirdly I feel like I have just a little bit of everything going on here. The elemental staff is damn nice, with the Evo I have it's a pretty decent weapon (Although it's description needs to be updated to mention something about proccing damage, I know only because I occasionally scan commits).

I'm in shoals now, just outside the rune chamber, I'd killed Ilsuiw and Frederic, and who do I find inside the rune chamber but Jory *sigh* I don't have anything yet that will really *kill* him fast enough, the elemental staff is Ok, but he's immune to most of my spells (I wonder if I can charm him with control undead.. Hm, probably not he's got 168 MR)

Anyway, I could go out and around and try to enslave enough zombies in the rest of Shoals:5 to kill him, but that sounds annoying as crap, and potentially bad-going for me. I might be able to go do Spider:1-4 and get the exp to cast silence (Which would make him easy to kill, LCS is something I don't want to get in the face.) I might be able to haste reliably soon as well.

Jiyva pretty much keeps me healed, full and with a full MP bar most of the time, at the cost of messing around with my stats and mutations in sometimes-good-sometimes-bad ways. So the questions are:

1. What do I do about Jory?
2. Which of the two nice unrand gloves that I got should i wear?

Ugh, why do I always forget slimify, it's such a useful tool and I use it on hydras, and then I forget about it on stuff like jory :) Brain fart.

And yeah, I've been using war, +4 EV is pretty nice, but not as nice as +5 slaying.
