Hunter In Progress
I cleared the Lair and Orc, where I found the item that would change my style of play; A buckler with blink and invisibility built in. I stormed the halls and cleared the first four floors with hardly any help from my bolts (Things almost got nasty when it occurred to me that the branch now only has five levels). Now I'm not sure if I want to continue with my Crossbow(s). My launchers and ammo take up alot of space and carrying capacity, but it is nice to be able to launch fire and ice attacks at range and penetrate large rows of baddies.
Right now my short term plan is to clear the first four floors of snake and maybe some swamp as well. After that I'll dive into the dungeon and the vaults to build up exp and a stack of Yacktaur bolts if I'm still using me X-bows.
Course In all likelyhood I'll just find some deadly unique to kill me or scare me away from where I need to go. Any hints or comments would be nice. I'd love to grab a rune before this guy meets his inevitable end.
