YASD - Polymorph combo
Hi,
I'm new so i hope, I don't violate any forum rules.
Just wanted to tell the following story of the tragic demise of my Gargoyle Berserker.
Everything went fine so far. Didn't have any amazing artefacts, but got to D11 without any problems (even though i had to run from a group of orcs accompanied by a hill giant and a troll coming from three directions).
Then in a relatively safe situation, i try a new wand on a monster. It is polymorph and tadaa, we have a shapeshifter.
It immediately transforms into a dragon and fire blastsmy 60/68 HP to a -8/68 in one shot.
Was my first death, that was funny/stupid enough IMO to post here.
EDIT: someone wanted to know, what monster i polymorphed:
"The manticore evaporates and reforms as a glowing shapeshifter!"
Maybe not my smartest move. Will take something weaker for testing next time
