YASD.. I hate draconians
DrVM - I was really enjoying this character... for a while.
Once I found out color, I figured I'd go Nemelex because of the Evocations bonus. Other than evocations, I decided to go hybrid melee and conjurations/air magic, since I got an air magic bonus from color and a matching book early on. I was very strong early on because of a +3 +5 whip of electrocution. That took me down to the bottom of the lair, where I found the unrand demon blade. Maybe switching to that was a mistake.
Anyway, I could tell I wasn't getting stronger as the dungeon got harder, and I felt like death was becoming inevitable. Legendary decks of summoning got me through anything tough, but other than that I felt weak. So I was a bit careless when a fought the dragon that slew me. Why did I share this? It was my most successful draconian ever, and seemed promising. I've always been drawn to draconians (i mean, come on, they're badass), but I think it'll be a while before I try another. They suck.
