I am not sure how paralyze works. I paralyzed Cerebov but he lost the status after I switched to qblade so it looks like minimal duration is below 0.5 turn. I tried source diving but I don't see any duration set.
Killing all 4 pan lords was extremely easy (even easier than with Ice Storm and Wucad Mu) but I had to teleport away from 4 Balrugs (I always forget I can frenzy them), having only 33 hp is not good.

I am not sure I will be able to get golden rune, I am low on curing potions. Hell scares me even more.

So far the hardest level was holy pan floor, I wasted 5 teleportation scrolls/zaps trying to find exit (no magic mapping and no cTele), again I forgot about blowgun though it could be good because it takes 1 turn to use it and many holy beings are faster and have a large shield. Looking for exit into Abyss/Dungeon now.

Did you try to paralyze Cerebov for the second time? Maybe the duration has to do something with the roll you get to beat HD of the monster. Like roll/HD. Forgeting to use your blowgun is not good, it can probably let you kill anything that's not undead in a couple of turns. I even sometimes paralyze 2-3 targets at a time, because this way I need fewer switches.

Yes, I switched back to blowgun and paralyzed him again. This time the status lasted at least 1.1 turn (weapon switch + 2 unhasted attacks of qblade).
I am not sure extra paralyze needles stack (increase duration).

I don't like blowguns speed, it takes 0.5 turn to switch to blowgun, then 1 turn to shoot, then 0.5 turn again to switch back, then 0.3 to finally kill the monster. That's 2.3 turns per kill! With +5 eudemon blade at 0.6 speed it's almost 4 attacks which usually kill most demons.
So it looks like blowguns are good at range only but then I don't fight at range often, I try to retreat behind a corner. Or if I am in the open there are usually several dangerous monsters and again I can't afford to spend 2.3 turns per monster.

Doesn't it take 0.5 at 10 weapon skill? I still think it's pretty good. You don't come across a good long blade that often. That will kill a powerful demon in 2 turns at that.

Oops, it looks like blowgun has 0.7 min delay according to wiki. I didn't pay attention in the game

I didn't use blowgun properly, it is extremely useful for disabling Neqoxecs at range or killing them after retreating behind a corner.
Geryon is surrounded by about 20 monsters (first time when I see it) so I had to retreat despite being invisible. At least hell hounds went upstairs with me so it should be easier next time.
I still don't have clarity amulet (maybe I should have visited a zig in pan but I was really scared of holy floors - not sure when they can appear in zig) so I decided to use stasis with jihad in Tomb since I need protection vs Sphynx any way. If Tomb 2 party is too tough, I will use random teleports on Tomb 1. Training Shields for shield with +Blink currently. rPois is not very useful in Tomb/Hell/ZoT5 as far as I remember.

Tomb was extremely hard, first I almost died to 4 smiting Sphinxes and a Mummy Priest (I think it was caused by my tactical mistake: I should have thrown a dart at one to lure it instead of relying on my stealth and trying to stab them), I teleported and was lucky to get into the corridor. I healed and then almost died second time to 2 Greater Mummies who tormented me while surrounding with summons so I teleported again and healed in Crypt. I tried using net but it wasn't very effective at range when there were several mummies around (killed one Mummy Priest this way but it frayed the net). I tried again but had the same problems with Greater Mummies, they are too tough without some holy crossbow or longbow and healing on kills.
So I went into Hell. Tartarus was much easier (killing single fiends was very easy) but sometimes I had several in range or they were hiding behind other monsters and Trog's hand was not enough to regenerate (I healed in some small rooms when possible). Ereshkigal was easy but when going for the exit I had to teleport twice while being with 20+ hp (this game didn't give me ring of cTele again).

So I went for the Orb. Frenzying draconians and Goldent Dragon to kill each other was fun. Fighting OoF with rMut and rF+++ was easy and fun until I forgot that Jihad can make me berserk. Fortunately Trog + Jihad allowed me to kill everything in LoS. Cursed Toe was hard - torment + blocked by wandering mushrooms in a corridor looked scaring.
Overall it was a fun game and I feel needles are overpowered vs demons, I got lucky mutations from 2 potions of beneficial mutations (5 potions of beneficial mutations were blocked by intrinsic rMut) and the only bad mutation I got from monsters was irrelevant.

Needles are strong, no doubt. But what else whould you do with something like hell sentinels(not to mention the lords) if you are not strong in melee, like an assassing with a toothpick as a weapon? Btw, did you try needles a lot against strong demons, because I'm interested in winning a game with a glowgunner/stabber? I guess by the looks of how it went with lords it should be OK.

Usually 1-2 needles were enough.

With 27 throwing and +7 blowgun the roll was 1 + d38, that's about 50% for monster with HD 18-19 (Hell Sentinel, all Fiends). Not bad for 0.7 turn attack.
I think I should have used blowgun as default weapon if I had more paralyzing needles (I was somewhat low on them at the end so I used sleeping which don't work well when there are several monsters in LoS - they wake each other).

Curare needles are very weak for this type of character - who needs to slow monster when you can just paralyze or "enslave" it.
