Is the wild magic worth keeping given that I have Augmentation? I seem to remember having full spell power (all #'s) on a previous DsWz, but I think that was before the removal of the # for power = 5, and the addition of the # for power = 200.

Also I intend to complete some ziggurats, to play test my changes (see Coding forum), and all these gifts and no Ozo's fridge, wtf?

I think it can be useful to have full spell power without being damaged so I don't see a reason to remove wild magic if you still can make your spells castable.

augmentation is not dumb anymore, so it works the other way: you get the bonuses *unless* you're hurt.
wild magic is usually bad because it lowers spell success quite a bit, so it's pretty easy to decide if you can live with it or not, just look at the numbers. it looks tolerable so far but i don't know if you want to learn higher lever spells.

Spellpower does different things for different spells. For many buff spells it just adds duration which on many occasions is not really that relevant and thus wild magic is not good. For damage-dealing spells it adds damage which is nice. But of course, you'll need to be able to cast those spells to get that extra damage.

Can someone tell me where my dex went? by my calculation I should have 6 (demonspawn dex base) + 2 (everyone gets this) + 3 (Wz dex mod) + 6 (thin bones) + (whatever random stat level ups I got, I chose int every time) - 1(if focus took from dex) = 16 > 15. I'm not wearing any -dex equipment. What happened?
