deep elf conjurers on D:9 were more of a what the hell on my current run. Fortunately they were in a vault and hadn't woken up, so I just closed the door and left. Obviously the vault explains how they got there, but still, it was unexpected.

On a related note, D:3 manticores can kiss my grits. I know it's not unreasonably OOD, but those spike volleys suck.
