YASD - Krakens & stone walls, curse you!
My poor purple DrAE got mangled by a kraken. What makes this so frustrating is two things; first, "rabble rabble too hard" complaint that the kraken is basically an executioner with more HP; extending tentacles in the Shoals means that there's almost no way to escape beyond teleportation, and by then it's too late. Second frustration (though more hilarious), I tried digging my way through one of the Shoals' trademark walls - lo and behold I hit 1 of 2 undiggable stone walls in the middle, these 2 out of roughly 20 total.
Imagine my dismay, but no need to imagine!
And lastly, draconians still aren't that good. Even if you're a purple and a spellcaster. No helmet, gloves, boots or buckler in exchange for what? Anti magic breath and average aptitudes across the board. Pfft.
And preemptive apologies if images aren't allowed. I couldn't resist.
