YAVP: Zeus the OgHu. 3 runes
I started this character out as a sort of novelty character a while ago, and decided to finish him after my 10 rune loss as a morale booster. All points into Str, all skills into throwing, you probably get the idea.
Notable achievements include: Taking more than half of an OoF's HP down in one throw (silver javelins) and killing a GD in one swing (at least, I think it was just one swing). I wanted to play around with Javelins of Penetration more, but Okawaru was very stingy with them and kept giving me poisoned darts instead.
The Silver Javelins against OoF were kind of neat, but it was still generally better to just beat them to death in melee. The damage had pretty high ranges and I would sometimes throw 2-3 that did barely any damage before throwing one that took a big chunk off.
I need to take a break from melee type characters (and probably crawl too, but that's another issue) and go for some pure casters.
