Most stupid death ever. Why do I even bother?

So I had a nice CeHu going, it was really easy the whole game, things were fine. I got nausea while starving and like usual, decided to wait it out because it really annoys me when I get made sick from doing that. Normally not a problem at all, but this time the nausea lasted for a long time and I leaned a little heavily on '5' without looking at what happened...

Yes. I rested myself to starvation for absolutely no reason. I am very, very dumb.

Fear not, you didn't die in vain. I actually didn't know this could happen. Yeah, I was under the illusion that nausea status would always wear off before you starve to death (...thought the game was build that way). I'm stupid like this sometimes. So, as you can guess, I also tend to wait out nausea to save curing pots. Guess i've been lucky so far.

Sorry for your loss, but thanks for the valuable lesson.

Nausea won't necessarily wear off, but you can eat while nauseated once you hit "Near Starving", that may be what you were thinking of.

You can eat permafood without getting sick once you hit Near Starving, you just get half nutrition from it.

I did not know that (clearly), thanks. If I knew nausea could last until death I would have done it anyway because duh. I guess at least I (and other people apparently) learned something from this.

Addendum: it is chunks that make you sick if you force yourself to eat them while nauseated and at Near Starving or lower.

Alas no. I've been lucky. Also didn't know you could eat while nauseated & near starving. So yeah, "real illusion" here (...if these words make any sense side by side). That's why I never feared nausea, for I was like : " This is annoying, but hey, I'll just wait it out. It will wear off before I croak anyway." So innocent and silly. Oh well, I guess I know better now. This death could have been mine. It was in store for me. I'm really glad that i've dodged it. Thanks : )

A Curing potion will also take care of nausea if you really need to get rid of the status.
