He's a badass. And he hasn't even reached his potential yet, at XL24 and halfway through mastering Fighting, Dodging and Armour at D:23 with 3 runes so far.
I've always liked Demigods, and since I can't be bothered and bored to play a spellcaster, this is pretty fun. Once he got to XL12-13 and got some better equipment it was quite easy.

A previous character, similar build, but with Bows died in Pan with 6 runes due to stat death. "Don't leave home without a restore abilities potion."

It's proportional to your current HP. At 1 HP, that sword is -4, -4.

Worship Makhleb to keep the enchantment high!.. Oh wait, you're a demigod. And with these enormous amounts of slaying, your effective damage enchantment on anything would be over the roof anyways...

The enchantment is now at +27, which is the maximum. It's quite effective.
However at 10 runes at the moment, and seriously lacking life protection, I am not sure if I should do Hells and Tomb for the last 5 runes.

That is quite impressive. With the sword of power, just how fast were you killing stuff?
I assume that without spells, you killed every single hell/pan lord. How did you manage that with piss poor life protection?

I had two levels of life protection for Pan, Hell and Tomb (one from the amulet, the other from a cloak). That seemed to be enough.
As for the scimitar, I believe an Angel dropped it in the Abyss, quite lucky in this regard, I agree.
