Just a character rolled to scratch the itch of "I want to blow shit up". Was meant to take Veh but D:2 Nemelex changed my mind. This character was not so loved by the cards. Never mind mass-OOD from The Orb often opening up the walls for everyone to see me (happened twice in a row...), it was the escape deck that screwed me over:

Yes, while trying to run away, I get Tomb card so I'm stuck with the golem in my face. The second card blinked me to right behind the golem, i.e. melee range. I read a Blink scroll to get some distance then tried again. Wrath card: Chei blows me up (damage!) and makes me fall asleep - right in front of the orc priest.

Moral of the story: do not draw cards if a botch will kill you and you certainly shouldn't be drawing a card as a last resort. Use them sooner.
