YASD? Welcome party on D:6

Not that I really cared too much about this char (apart from some pretty good rings that I found) since he was only XL 7 and i randomed yellow (why do they even keep yellow draconian? They are by far the most useless colour), but wtf were a giant hill and a trapdoor spider doing on D:6? And yes I know I had a scroll of fear, it's just that I got caught a bit by surprise and I am in the middle of an experiment in the lab ^^

They keep yellow draconians for the great mission of being a source of annoyance in Zot. The question is: why do yellow ones need to be so boring and underpowered as player characters?

Same reason that orc priests are much more interesting and dangerous as monsters, and that Nessos is more badass than any CeHu of yours is likely to be, and that Rupert is a better HuBe ... in other words, symmetry doesn't exist.

Yellow dracs are boring and underpowered as monsters, too. Unless it's lemuel_acid_trip, of course. Then you might also consider ragequitting. So yeah 100% symmetry basically

Agree on that, but even pale drac (which imho come just ahead of yellow) are still very reasonable with their triple bonus apt and a way more useful breath!
I mean, every other colour has some degree of flexibility (well maybe not red\white, but still rF+\rC+ is a reason alone to be satisfied), whereas I can't see yellow being useful in any other situation than deciding beforehand to go with a melee UC char...
