YAVP DeFe (4 runes)
A personal highscore for me, wouldn't bother posting, but there were a few notable moments from the morgue:
First, an entirely nasty set of uniques on Swamp:5
I really should have run, but one of the things that keeps me amped about this game is trying to take on unbelievably difficult situations. More often than not, it ends up in failure, I just happened to get lucky this time that the uniques weren't all on top of eachother.
Next up was probably the WORST trove I've ever come across. I'm so glad I only had to give up a +2 Swamp Dragon Armour to get in here... if I'd forked over a wand of healing (7), I would have cried:
Lastly, this was a super-nasty Zot:5. I managed to kill 9 orbs of fire, and there was another one I ran from on the way out. At times, I simply had to take 2 on at once. Horrible, horrible, horrible!
I must say that De spell aptitudes are awesome. Getting Fireball on line by XL5 makes the early game very relaxing. Only real annoyance are crimson imps:

I'd really like to be able to win a 15-rune game one of these days, but Each time I try, I fail miserably, and It takes 4 or 5 hours to get a new character back to the point where he can try the extended endgame again. I really wish the 3-rune game were shorter... Perhaps a shorter dungeon, or make Spider, Shoals, Swamp, Snake, Crypt 3 levels instead of 5? Or possibly remove them as branches all together and just make D:X a snake level with a rune or something It was nice to see that Vault was recently shortened.
