[CiP] Why so hungry? (MiGl Okawaru)

Can anyone please tell me why my MiGl is so hungry? Heavy inv in this dump, but stashing equipment doesn't seem to help. I thought jewellery, but I'm not wearing it. No mutations yet. Could it b the axe {pain, +Inv rC+}?

Re: [CiP] Why so hungry? (MiGl Okawaru)

The problem shouldn't be with the axe, I think randart weapons ID everything but the damage and to hit modifiers on equip. Unless you're spamming finesse/heroism or used to playing kobolds or trolls, I've no idea why you'd get the feeling of hunger.

Did you have this ring on for an extended amount of time before uncursing it? It could have Hunger++ as a trait.
Y - an uncursed encrusted granite ring {tried, was cursed}

Were you wearing the ring of regeneration much? That increases your hunger rate while you're injured.

The regen I haven't tried yet. The unidentified rings I've tried only briefly, hoping for ring of sustenance. I'm going to fill up then count turn to hunger. Will post. Maybe I found a satiety leak. :0)

One of the unidentified rings was hunger. Occasionally wearing it for short time mid-dungeon, trying to identify it, was keeping satiety down. But as hunger didn't appear until after I'd taken it off, I never linked the two.

Char is dead now (not by hunger).

Re: [CiP] Why so hungry? (MiGl Okawaru)

Don't wear a wing that 'was cursed.' It usually means something is wrong with them.

And unid'ed amulet as well. I found many cases of them being either inaccuracy or stasis.

I think Unid'ed rings are fine, though if you get hungry you might want to take it off.
