i dont particularly have questions on this build yet, since im still in the earlier part of the game, but killing sigmund in one punch was too hilarious to just pass xD

The best thing you could have done would have been to wait for a altar to okawaru or trog. The gifts of ammo and weapons are very nice for a melee fighter.

I don't imagine it will be so much "interesting" as "over by xl9"

One upside of a MiHu of Chei: you should be able to get bows to minimum delay by skill level 13 or 14 and crossbows to minimum delay by level 15. (With Oka or Trog you'd wait until level 21+)

If you find some bolts lying around, I think this build could do very well. It will, however, get hard once the loss of haste/speed starts to hit home.

uhhh so an elephant in D:9, fight or pass?

A D:9 elephant will almost certainly kill you if you try to engage it in melee combat. There are some exceptions, but you will live a lot longer if you do not assume that you are one of them.

At any rate, it is guarding the Lair. Get there.

Passing and fighting will be difficult as a follower of Chei. I'm not sure what to do in this situation. If you have ?blinking maybe try blinking on to the lair stairs.

One solution to a D:9 elephant is to slouch it - you were up to 2 * piety on d:4, if you have reached 5* then you will have enough for at least 3 slouches, which should kill it. Yes, it's high cost piety wise, but this is frequently a life saver on early-midgame chei characters, which is why I raise invocations to 10 as soon as possible. Melee and slouch mixed together could work, but as already said, don't try straight up melee.
