So recently I have returned to Dungeon Crawl after taking a long break. I started this character quite a while and now I'm wondering what path I should be taking with this character. A few lucky finds set the path for this character, the first being a dagger of pain and the second being an early Kiku altar. From there I figured, well, since I have a pain weapon and a Kiku altar, I may as well go necrosader. And so I did so, and it's gone really well. I have a lot more options now than I did before, but now I feel as if the problem is that I have too many options, especially after receiving a pile of loot from the Labyrinth. What shall I tackle next? I have my basic bread and butter fire conjurations up and the basic necromancy survival spells, but I'm not too sure what way I want this character to go. I could for instance continue to focus on using the necrosading and hope for a quick blade to brand, and raise my Stealth, Dodging, Shield, and maybe Stabbing skill levels, which I have been neglecting to focus on magic and Short Blades skill. Or I could go and try to build my character around summonings, because I do have access to Haunt, Necromutation, and a whole bunch of other summonings. Or maybe conjurator? I could hope for Fire Storm and abuse it with Necromutation...

I don't really know, guys. Suggestions on spells to learn and skills to raise would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't bother to raise stabbing as it's really unreliable if you don't have disabling spell ( Ensorcelled Hibernation, Confuse,Invisibility...).
On the other hand, I would train both dodging and stealth: you have a quite low evasion for a lv12 sp, soon you could meet enemies able to 2-shot your character and you definitely not want that. Stealth is truly life-saver skill too, as lets you to pick the fights. I don't know how much more expensive is to train in 0.10, but with an aptitude of +4 is still totally worth it, from my point of view.

Regarding the other skills to train, I believe it depends on the number of runes you're planning to get. If you're aiming a 3-runes win, I'd definitely stick with summoning and necromancy: abjuration, agony, shadow creatures, haunt and a dagger of pain are really more than you need to easily obtain that victory. Moreover, you can almost cast fireball safely: I'd train fire magic and conjuration just until this spell has an higher success-rate, because with the bad apts of sp it's really not worthy to learn fire-storm in a short-game.

However, if you're planning a 15-runes win, you're going to get more xp than you really need. In this case, getting firestorm could be a viable solution; you should start to train transmutation too, if you aren't planning to rely on a staff of energy and kiku's torment protection.
Anyway, keep in mind that summoning seems to be viable too - I've never played a summoner in the extended-game, but summon dragon is said to be terrific. As the latter and firestorm aren't guaranteed, I'd train summoning too (at least to cast haunt), and focus on a choice only after finding the right spell (although this is a bit risky, as you could find the book of annihilations/dragon really late in the game).
