CIP: help with weapon decistion

I started to play as DrAK initially with polearms as a weapon of choice. Few levels deeper, I switched to staves because I found nice piece of quaterstaff. Now, having read scroll of acq. gave me +8 +4 quickblade. I am struggling to decide whether to switch weapon once again in favour of short blades, because I can have Lugonu add it distortion brand...

What do you think?

A quickblade of distortion is awfully good, and it won't take long to train to min delay. If you can learn Sure Blade as well, that'd be worthwhile.

Yes, distortion brand that quick blade as soon as you can. Possibly my favorite weapon in the game.
