YAVP: First Win, vanilla MDFi with interesting late flavour
Yeehaw, I made it. The first win feels so sweet!
After I came across a recent discussion about whether to shield or not to shield, I thought I'd give 2H a try and pretty much followed that guide:

What can I say? I am currently considering myself a 2H convert. But lots of that is probably due to the awesome Axe Okawaru gifted me, it has been the very first gift I got and I used it through the whole game...
... Here's the char:
I think I got really lucky with equipment this time, that Axe gift was perfect (rElec and rPois are pretty useful in the early game, while the holy brand allowed me to oneshot Ancient Liches on a good dice roll) and the Pearl Dragon Armor is sick (At least for my standards).
The funny thing was: After I had cleared Elf:5, I was in possession of a strong armour with only -3 EV and three items with Stealth++, which I could comfortably wear, so I decided to srcew the -3 aptitude and train Stealth. This proofed to be very very useful. Sneaking around in the Realm of Zot probably made my life much easier and I attack both Boris and Geryon while they were sleeping, both died without too much of a fuss. So fun!
If anybody wants to know something, I am glad to answer.
To the developers: Thank you very much for creating such an interesting and challenging game, I had great fun playing. Kudos to you!
Still there are some questions, that I still like to ask so here I go:
1) I'm not able to fully figure out Throwing, especially how the throwable weapons compare to "regular" ranged weapons like bolts or javelins. Is everything governed by Throwing skill? Or are there other things important like Axe skill for throwing hand axes or those axes being of Dwarven fabric?
Don't get me wrong, I've made good use of the Throwing skill, I'd just like to know more details.
2) Is there another way to protect scrolls and potions other than conservation or not carrying them? For example does rF help against the destruction part of Sticky flame?
3) Who decided it was fun to place a Gold Dragon Armor Mimic inside a Vault?? I'll find him!
4) I'd like to try out a MDAK as my next char but the combination is not recommended. Why's that? The aptitudes fit, Lugonus abilities seem to be useful to a melee build, so where's the catch?
5) On my way through the dungeon I found a Vault that had two roughly elliptic shaped rooms, in the first was a gang of Kobolds with an Altar of Xom in the second has been an empty stone arch. Was there any portal? It didn't announce itself upon entering the level. Or is it just to screw with my mind?
