SO THIS WAS A TRIP.
Playing as this Gnoll really gave me a good feel for a *lot* of different things I hadn't tried before, and taught me a lot about spellcaster gameplay. This playthough was surprisingly bereft of a lot of the usual goodies I would expect, and I still had hardly any resistances at the end. By the end I was using Iron Shot and Crystal Spear plus my Servitor, occasionally swapping to the Zealot sword and statue forming my way through things.
The six runes I had were the Lair Branches, Vaults, Abyss, Slime... and Tomb.
Yes. Tomb. SOMEHOW I wandered in there, used Shatter to sequence break half the place, then blinked around and managed to grab the rune before high tailing it out of there. I didn't get any of the treasure but hey, I got the rune, which was something.
Didn't feel like risking any of the Hells without decent resists and while I could have ground Pan I figured enough was enough and I'd call it good.
