(CIP 0.16) DsAK: screwed up with ^Jiyva
So...
Be demonspawn abyssal knight.
Be (surprisingly appropriately) monstrous, and a nightstalker/manashield so the drawbacks of being monstrous are mostly negated.
Be cruisin'.
Be wearing an Invocation title since level 3, cause "Diablo the corrupter of planes" rocks.
Be worshiping Makhleb after Abyss stopped being scary, cause "Diablo the Champion of Chaos" rocks too, and so does Makhleb.
Be derailing maybe too much experience into Summoning and Necromancy, out of a desire to summon hydrae and spectral things (which are more situational and limited than could be hoped, but eh, spammable MMenagerie makes up for that anyway).
Be reclaiming the Ni- i mean, the Four Hells, healing-on-kills left and right except for two bad situations on Tartarus 7 (one was about three shadow fiends at once along with some chaff, to which i've noped and teleported away; the other was about Ereshkigal, who really kept me nervous and in 20-40 hp range for the entire fight even though i prebuffed with potions and cards and drank !Healing a lot).
Be having enough with Hell not generating any !curemut, while hell effects only worsened the problem (via inducing more glow).
Be planning to take up Jiyva for a ride, feed her Vaults floortrash, swap bad mutations for good mutations, then commit deicide so Diablo won't get malmutated back by her wrath, and rejoin Makhleb.
Be doing exactly that (except the "for good mutations" part since, unlike Xom, Jiyva seems to be very reluctant to allow more than three or four good mutations at a time).
EXCEPT
Used Jiyva's own jelly-paralisation ability to see if it persists after you betray Jiyva (it does); attacked the paralysed RJ, earning Jiyva's penance; killed TRJ in about two hits total (since preparations were made for a true fight, not for a slaughter of helpless); and abandoned Jiyva...
AND SHE SEEMS TO STILL BE OUT THERE.
Living, hating, having Diablo under a penance and threatening to make him frail all over again.
So: where did it go wrong? Should i have abandoned Jiyva before killing TRJ for the "no living worshippper" clause to activate? How do i finish the deicide now? Am i doomed to waiting out her wrath now? And how does that even metaphysically work?
(And the most important question: Lucy X Jiyva, an eucumenically forbidden ship, yes or no?)

Be demonspawn abyssal knight.
Be (surprisingly appropriately) monstrous, and a nightstalker/manashield so the drawbacks of being monstrous are mostly negated.
Be cruisin'.
Be wearing an Invocation title since level 3, cause "Diablo the corrupter of planes" rocks.
Be worshiping Makhleb after Abyss stopped being scary, cause "Diablo the Champion of Chaos" rocks too, and so does Makhleb.
Be derailing maybe too much experience into Summoning and Necromancy, out of a desire to summon hydrae and spectral things (which are more situational and limited than could be hoped, but eh, spammable MMenagerie makes up for that anyway).
Be reclaiming the Ni- i mean, the Four Hells, healing-on-kills left and right except for two bad situations on Tartarus 7 (one was about three shadow fiends at once along with some chaff, to which i've noped and teleported away; the other was about Ereshkigal, who really kept me nervous and in 20-40 hp range for the entire fight even though i prebuffed with potions and cards and drank !Healing a lot).
Be having enough with Hell not generating any !curemut, while hell effects only worsened the problem (via inducing more glow).
Be planning to take up Jiyva for a ride, feed her Vaults floortrash, swap bad mutations for good mutations, then commit deicide so Diablo won't get malmutated back by her wrath, and rejoin Makhleb.
Be doing exactly that (except the "for good mutations" part since, unlike Xom, Jiyva seems to be very reluctant to allow more than three or four good mutations at a time).
EXCEPT
Used Jiyva's own jelly-paralisation ability to see if it persists after you betray Jiyva (it does); attacked the paralysed RJ, earning Jiyva's penance; killed TRJ in about two hits total (since preparations were made for a true fight, not for a slaughter of helpless); and abandoned Jiyva...
AND SHE SEEMS TO STILL BE OUT THERE.
Living, hating, having Diablo under a penance and threatening to make him frail all over again.
So: where did it go wrong? Should i have abandoned Jiyva before killing TRJ for the "no living worshippper" clause to activate? How do i finish the deicide now? Am i doomed to waiting out her wrath now? And how does that even metaphysically work?
(And the most important question: Lucy X Jiyva, an eucumenically forbidden ship, yes or no?)
