That's very unlucky indeed. I like amulet of guardian spirit for low HP species, probably it could let you survive one more turn. Also I would use a +2 pair of gloves of strength (215 gold) instead of those +0 with rCorr.

Ouch. I've died once on the Orb run (on D:1 no less) but I already had won many times at that point. It still hurt quite a lot.
You'll get over it, just start up another character :)

I agree with VAF, guardian spirit is very good and those 34 MP would have been gone to good use.

I started a mad cow right after this, but he died early.
However, now I've got a MiFi who's already got 2 runes and an electric demon whip. Hopefully, this time.....
