Now YAVP HuBe: Exec Axe too expensive?
I'm pretty sure, after thinking about it for an evening, that I ought not go for this awesome executioner's axe that Trog just gave me. The XP to get it going ought to go into defenses instead. I started with maces and found an early electrowhip and an early excellent buckler. Then Urug dropped a vampiric broad axe on L:5, while no demon whip or eveningstar had spawned, so I made the switch with S-branches XP. I figure I can put the rest of my XP (4 rune game) into defenses and Throwing and be a lot better off than I would be if I spent all that XP on the executioner's axe and still had 10-16 in my defenses. Do you agree?
