CiP: KoBe has 2 runes, now what?

Of course I get my second and third runes ever with the first PC I get off the ground *after* the tourney ended. Ah well. I feel pretty good about this my most successful KoBe ever, but now that I have the Snake and Swamp runes, what do I do next? Clear a bit more Vaults, enter Crypt, dive the dungeon? Advice anyone?

demon blade needs long blades 14, i'd suggest to disable the skill, especially when you take the aptitude into account.
as kobolds are smaller you need more shield skill to get a buckler penalty free (7).
stealth 15 would be quite enough imo, you can enable it later again. traps&doors would be helpful to have higher.

i would suggest to do elf to get some better equipment. if you find a rMut amulet you can do slime (its quite easy as a stabber iirc), but be prepared to lose some plusses on non-artifact equipment, not that you have much that you would miss.
otherwise vaults, albeit vault 8 would be difficult with the current values, especially without rF, rC and rElec. Do you have a source of see invisible somehwere? i don't see it, did you survive any unseen horrors without it?

Gah, I always end up with more weapon skill than necessary. Is it worth pimping my demon blade with any enchant scrolls? Those are definitely my worst consumable for never using and just hoarding away for ever for no reason with. As it is, I am guessing the demon blade is just about the best base type weapon I could hope for as a long blades user.

Sadly I haven't found any rElec or SInv yet - I have just been stabbing blindly at the unseen horrors with a poisonous blade until I feel a bit more experienced (which does work nicely for those wee bastards, but won't be so good against more powerful unseen mobs I guess).

Swapping out my rPois for rF+ ring is ok, but my lack of amulet options is ridiculous... I found utterly Beserker-useless amulets of stasis and beserk rage, and the amulet of controlled flight I am wearing, and that's it. No other amulets at all. Grr.

There are a couple of artifact armors in some shops, perhaps I should buy them and hope for SInv, rElec or rF... let me see, there is a heavily runed chain main for 608 gold, a smoking chain mail for 544, and a distressingly furry plate mail for 1064 gold. Plate mail sounds a tad on the heavy side though.

I guess I will do some chain mail shopping and then take on the first levels of Elf. Exciting stuff

elf without sInv is annoying, as almost all elves can turn invisible. did you identify all rings? sInv could also be found on a ring (which would be much easier to use in case of an invisible mob)

regarding the weapon: for a three rune win flaming is not a bad property, and it's hard to get better than a demon blade.
i would say enchant it to at least +6 (scrolls start to fail afterwards), if you find a better property you'll find more enchant scrolls as well most likely.

Yeah, no luck on the ring front either.I think I have a scroll of acquirement in my stash though - I guess if the shopping doesn't work out for me, I can try get myself some fancy jewellery, although considering the number of unidentified amulets I have, I shan't be very optimistic.

Perhaps I will dive the dungeon a bit more before Elf then.. it wasn't feeling too hairy on D17, and that was Snake, Orc and Swamp ago, so maybe some of the floor trash there will be obtainable. Thanks for the help.
