YAVP - MiMo of Chei
So, inspired by this post from tabstorm, I finally got a Chei guy up and running. Went Mo because of the piety boost. Went Mi because of the horns. Went polearms for reaching.
This dude is sick. Early game was easy because I'm an Mi. Just poked everything to death. Found a hand xbow early, which was sweet. I was hoping to use a railgun endgame. After finding the snail temple, it didn't take long to ramp up the Chei bonuses. I didn't use his powers much, but they were still hand to have, just in case.
Teleport scrolls + thinking more carefully about positioning + being able to just make things explode by shooting/hitting them in the head was enough to cruise through L, Ice Cave, O, Volcano, E, and V1-4. Chei is nuts.
I'm working on getting my triple xbow online now just because I want to see that thing in action. Armor drops have be lukewarm. Unlike my ogres who always find half a dozen glowing plates, this guy found only one: +3, no ego. Blech. I've got some white and red dragon hides to choose from too. Haven't decided what to roll with, so any suggestions are appreciated. I think I'll ditch that scarf for my old +0 rC cloak and enchant it up.

Bugger. RNGs have been stingy with enchant arms and weaps all game and I could have used them better. But whatever. This guy lived so that's all that matters.
