YAVP: HuMo of Jiyva (4 runes)
So it was time to win Jiyva and play a HuMo. I had only ever once worshipped Jiyva years ago when I found an altar on D:2 or something. Now the plan was to clear L, O and D and if no altar was found, dive Slime and get to the altar before dying. I peeked into Slime already earlier to magic map a couple of levels to see if there would be any altars. But I had to do the dive and survived, converting with about 30 HP left...
It was very easy to get piety to 6* then by requesting a jelly on each previously explored floor to eat all the stuff.
V:5 had 9 shops. Then again, the rest of the floors had only 10 shops altogether, so... With Jiyva, shops are obviously very very nice, although a lot of money gets eaten.
I had a few close calls in the end with OoFs (5 of them) and could have easily died. Luckily I didn't. Scrolls of summoning and fog and phantom mirrors were used liberally.
Only one scorpion killed.
My 55th victory, first Jiyva worshipper. Monk is now my 5th best background (5/32=15,6%).
Only Beogh to go of the current gods. So only HOs for awhile...
