Mutation roulette sucks

Sometimes even if you win at mutation roulette you don't win. Had a DgWn who got into poison trouble. Hadn't discovered an Id scroll yet so drank a potion from the largest stack. Mutation. No time to worry about that, tried another potion it was curing. Saved my life. Went to look at the mutations. 3 beneficial. Great right? Well my Dg was a battle axe wielding plate armor bruiser. My mutations were +stealth, wild magic and +2 int. Argh.

True, Dg must be a hybrid with those aptitudes (you train both Armour and Dodging so it's easy to switch to different body armour, you have identical aptitudes for weapon/magic), lots of stats (middle armour with good AC/EV and level 6 spells) and easy way to get high stats (no matter what you started with, you still can have lots of everything). I recall there was a DgWn meme/joke but it is not too far from truth IMHO
