CIP Mummy Wizard of Gozag

I think this is a really easy build, but I wanted one to live. This one just finished with the first ziggurat, and now has two little +1 ziggurat callers left. Advantages: a) take as long as you want doing WHATEVER you fancy b) with no mutations even when you spam Irradiate or Controlled Blink c) without fear of torment cutting your HP in half d) converting all your corpses to gold e) but still getting the critters back as both Death Channel and Infestation (I mean, having 54 death scarabs on your side, plus a fair number of spectral shard shrikes, is kind of overkill. You hang out on the front lines letting your army kill stuff - your only job is to get them pregnant first!) e) and then there's that scarf, which is like Qazlal only better, allowing Mephitic Cloud + Ignite Poison casts on one's own position for example. The main vulnerability is while trying to "prime the pump" with the first few scarabs - don't have any really killer mass damage spells (shatter would be nice... not really trained yet, and have to decide what to give up for it and you can't use it on the army).

Development was first combat, much later spells (conjure flame and mephitic were big helps though even at the original wizard power). Eventually deconstruction as a favorite. Master wizard, then fighting, Then necromancy and ... what to do with it? Tried that spell to make a pain brand on a +9 broad axe of chopping, didn't see any point even on the handful of vulnerable critters even with necromancy 27. After that, survival skills (armor & dodging).

TV and crawl work well together. ;) As for the turns, well, a frustrated mummy afraid to dive can just wait for something to show up. But actually, come to think of it, that's mostly in "G T" trips where I sort out the loot.
