[YASD] FoEE and the golden armour

So, I started this formicid with the idea of statue form and UC.
But then on D5 I've found a golden dragon armour...

If you want to switch, you will need a better weapon and some skills in that weapon category and fighting. Otherwise your melee attacks will miss too often.
Underestimated: cleaving, Deep Elf, Formicid, Vehumet, EV

Statue form merge armor, so don't aim for it if you use the gda

GDA (or GDS now, I suppose) is wonderful armor that is often underrated on these forums (in favor of CPA, which admittedly is quite awesome). However, there are two things you need to make GDS really good: Some armor skill, and some enchantment level. You're at +0, and 0 armor skill. GDS isn't all that powerful for you right now. You could certainly start moving in that direction, but if you're casting and were planning on going statue form, I'd probably still go in that direction.

I ended up following Sif Muna and now I have the Earth book and I'm training Transmutation while beating monsters with iron shot at level 3 of Lair :-)
GDA is quietly resting on my stash ^^ while statue form is on its way!
