Been playing on and off since 0.4 (I think, I looked it up to try and see and Ogre-Mages were definitely around when I started so I think that's right). Had made it to Zot twice, and the Orb chamber once (documented here) but never won. Feels good man.

MiBe I'd been playing them with 2H axes and Bows, decided for this one to switch to one hander, shields and slings after finding Arga early. Ended up getting a speed branded fustibalus to boot so that was nice. Other drops were pretty good, bought a nice pair of boots and found a pretty good reflection amulet in V5. Remembering to activate Trog's hands before facing powerful hexers had been my downfall earlier, having so much permanent MR definitely helped

Orb ascendancy was pretty easy, with a teensy scare at Zot:1. Zot5 fight was made extra hard by my wearing rN+ ring instead of rF+. Oh well. Bro's and evoked summons fought good enough. Still came closer than I 'should' have to death at one point but a win's a win. V5 turned out to be very easy for this guy which was when I knew I was going to have a good shot at winning.
