NaWz with OJ CPA And No God- Decisions to be made.

Well, I've made some stat level up mistakes, choosing strength twice so far. I was hoping to go for a hybrid caster, and OJ-CPA seems just too far out of reach- without Chei Strength boost or really strange Gozag/Oka gifts.

Do I go Chei with the escapes I have and use OJ-CPA, or head for a 'safer' avenue and Ignore the unrandart?

Na goes hybrid without heavy armor invest. Becaucse they're naga's. Just acquire barding and enchant it up, you'll still tab zot with 40+ AC in the archmagi robe.

If no books have dropped you probably want to go kiku or newsif.

I know what I would do if I find OCPA on D:6, I would go Chei and use that armour (and get some better weapon then the +3 spear (can't do fsim now but think that all those 3 daggers you have are better then the spear))

whatever you decide, get 3 points into the shields for buckler

If you want to cast in ocpa then picking veh would let you do that while being much less suicidal than picking chei.

But you are probably better off wearing a +2 robe of the archmagi and picking a god that isn't terrible (Kiku for example), because 1. you're a naga and 2. you're a Wz.

The only reason to go Chei as Naga is to abuse slouch. Probably with Statue Form and a Amulet of Faith. And chei is really good at making you a solid Tank. And with chei it's better to get items that increase stats.

Naga of Chei can have incredible AC/EV while still casting level 9 spells. Extra damage from slouch is just a nice bonus.

Chei is pretty much free for Na on trunk.
