This is the first I've gotten a transmuter this far, and it's pretty fun to play. It's also incredibly strong, and I had gotten 2 runes before I knew it. The next part of the game is where I splat alot so any advice related to skills, branch order etc. would be appreciated.
Also, I've only ever done vaults as my 3rd rune without every venturing to the Abyss or Slime so I'd like to know if they would be easier than V:5,since apparently ashenzari followers have an easier time in abyss, or if there's a specific strategy that transmuters use on V:5? My usual strategy is to have a vampiric weapon/Makhleb and funnel everything into a corridor or stairdance and smite vault wardens as required but this character has neither of those.
