[CiP] OgWr To Jiyva or not to Jiyva?

Came back after a longer break from crawl. Wanted to play it safe and go for Oka, but had to realize that the temple is slimified. Since I never played Jiyva so far I'm curious. What do I have to expect from stat stuffling?

str->dex a lot, int ->dex some.
It's worth it power-wise IMO. You already have body restrictions, so these mutations will be even better, it's good to have more dex here, and free slime:6 loot is nice.

Don't go Jiyva.

1. Your stat will drained to Int or dex, unless you pick lucky early dragon scales.

2. Ogre's gameplay is hard until you pick decent dragon scales. So you'll need many consumables in combat. Jiyva's jellies efficiently eat all your precious loots.

3. Converting from Oka (or sth like that) to Jiyva is okay, provided that you picked gold dragon scales and decent amount of consumables.

While this is true, Jiyva provides potentially unlimited stock of the best consumable in the game - "kill almost any monster in 2 turns". Arguably Jiyva is better for Og than for most other species because jellies don't eat large rocks and Og does not care about all those plate armours and gloves eaten up.
