The Tavern

To be fair, I feel like this death wasn't completely stupid. There are only two things that come to mind that I could have done better:

1. Use less slouch in the lungs. By the time I started the orb run, I was down to ****.. piety. Step from time would probably have saved me.
2. Waited for the electric golem to blink away before going up the stairs. They can do a fair bit of damage, even with rElec, and I was down to 77 HP by the time the pan lord showed up.

Oh, well. I guess I'll have to get a chei win some other time.
Side note: google docs recognizes all DCSS god names as words. Interesting.

Allow me to beat the rest of tavern to the punchline:

3. Not worship Chei.

Real comment: would Bend Time have helped your stairs problem?

But Chei is one of the best gods for speedrunning!

But not for the "just under 50k" kind of speedrunning. Just go fed->jiyva and skip the vaults, otherwise play normally.
