I don't understand how players can play without using fsim. The character got the following:

Which weapon would you use?

I started with mace but instantly switched to SBl after finding that short sword.
Quite lucky character, found wand of hasting on the floor, acquired 3 armour pieces and quaffed a potion of XP.
Mindless tabbing all the way.

Which weapon would you use?

In a vacuum not taking into account when you got them, I would use demon whip while I was at low skill and eventually switch to eveningstar once I felt comfortable with the attack speed, so as to not have to worry about high AC/rElec enemies. But it looks like you got short sword on d4, then demon whip d10, then eveningstar in l8 ice cave... so I would probably have used them in the order found!

That's a good point that I totally forgot about.

I think I would still use it, because with Vs's mana steal I would not expect to drop so low that having 9 less mana would actually matter, but I guess it's a bit of a wash at best.

Not using fsim, I can't see how is this a question. The short sword sucks ass, even for a VS. The eveningstar is good (even with that -9 MP). But the demon whip is absolutely amazing.

Throw the short blade into lava. Perhaps use the eveningstar in Cocytus?

Ok, one more question. Found GDA on V:2, I have AC 31/EV 13 in it, AC 25/EV 22 in +3 scale mail of Fatonk (worn) {Regen+ Slay+6}.
Would you switch, keep using the scale mail or try to enchant and give it to trove? I guess I should give it to trove, Slay+6 is too good for the character because of dwip and racial bite.

I have just found a stack of 3 enchant armour and I guess I have nothing to do but to enchant that shield. Quite unusual.

I am lazy to switch weapon so I use the eveningstar mostly because of rC+ and MR+, also I dropped a +3 ring of evasion for the same reason, rCorr is better swapping-wise

Edit. With that slaying even +8 greatsling of velocity which I have is a great weapon, it kills Tentacled Monstr. in 3-4 attacks.

VS with that slaying is broken, I felt like I have rMut amulet, just a single mutation despite killing multiple OoFs, fighting 2 of them simultaneously twice.
Got a panlord on D1 near entrance to stone-wall exit from dungeon, ran with it adjacent to me but then it decided to cast some useless spells. Previous panlord who casted torment twice was much more dangerous.
Didn't use any scrolls of blinking, teleportation was used just twice (Vaults 5 got stairlocked, got marked from Zot trap on Crypt 3 and Khufu came into view)
