CeGl In Progress - Late Game Advice Wanted
Then I found the Shield of Resistance, a great artifact trident, and a passable hand crossbow, and managed to reach the point where I can melee iron dragons without much difficulty. I just decided to turn spellcasting on to see if I can get some low level spells online, when I find the armor of the freaking dragon king. It isn't actually that much better than my +12 Chain armor at the moment, and likely takes any sort of casting out of the question completely, but combined with Qazial's passive resistance and my shield, I'm sure fire and ice threats will be trivialized for me.
Anyway, a few questions:
Should I use the Dragon Armor, or try to get some spells going? If spells, which spells are worth it for this character to pick up? If going a bit less armored is better for magic, I can get the Fairy Dragon armor instead.
Is it worth turning Evocations back on at some point to get those last few ticks of power on Cloud Cone? Acidic Fog sounds pretty badass.
I have no means of seeing invisible yet, and the layout on Spider 4 is pretty wide open. so I'm worried about having to fight multiple Ghost Moths. Can I take them blind? Or should I hold out until I can see them? I have sustain attributes if that is enough.
I'm thinking of invoking disaster area several times on the stairs at Vault 5 to clean up the mess that usually waits down there. Any idea what my target invocations skill should be to do that?
Does this character have post endgame potential? I don't envision doing a 15 rune run, but it would be nice to get more than three.
