YAVP (UPDATE): Six new Sprint turncount records
First, a bit of background: The old speedrun method, used by pubby, involved using Dithmenos's Shadow Step as a Spriggan Assassin to go through a series of such lovely monsters as the Lernaean Hydra and Lom Lobon. Basically, the technique was to stab a lot of the monsters close to the start, building enough xp and piety to reach Stealth 27 and high enough invocations to shadow step/shadow form past everything, then go. I saw another technique that involved skipping past the whole Lernaean Hydra/pandemonium lord section that involved blinking through some iron grates to the Orb, then using Passage of Golubria to get out. I tried that, got lucky, and managed a decently fast run of around 890 turns.
After that, my main question was whether it was possible to cut all side exploration out--whether the most direct route to the Orb of Zot also contained a manageable enough sequence of monsters to get me there. Turns out the answer is: yes. It took 72 tries in total to get the following run:
Normally, you have to plan contingencies for a couple of monsters waking up. The demonic crawlers, hogs, and unseen horrors all gave me a lot of trouble often, but that was one of the uses of warper: I could lure them back to a cleared room, blink past them, and close the door. This almost worked twice. Once of those times, while I was attempting to get past the fire giants, they woke up and killed me at the last second. The second time, I got 3 squares away from the exit while holding the orb when my parked demonic crawler killed me.
Then this happened. Every single monster stayed asleep, and my plan went off with not a single problem creeping in. This run gets very close to the theoretical fastest possible run for Red Sonja, unless a new method is discovered: With the exception of the time spent running back with the Orb, where I could have saved a few turns by blinking instead of walking, there were only about ten unnecessary moves in the entire game (most notably killing the 12-headed hydra instead of ignoring it). The gif presents every move as it happened, with only some of the orbrun skipped.
The previous fastest run (which, by the way, is a work of art) clocked in at 322 turns and 2 minutes, 25 seconds.
This run cut it almost in half, to 172 turns and 2:13.
Again, I can't take too much credit here, since the stars aligned perfectly, and the odds of every monster staying asleep like that were embarrassingly low. I'm pretty happy about it, though. Speedrunning Sprint maps is a lot of fun.
EDIT: Okay, the first four sprints all have new records now. Keep of Menkaure and Fedhas both took a bit of work, but the 10 rune challenge record wasn't (still isn't) particularly impressive. Here are all logs.

Violet Keep: http://crawl.akrasiac.org/rawdata/demonblade/morgue-demonblade-20160324-220703.txt

EDIT: Zigsprint is trivial using felid death teleport silliness. Kinda silly, really, but there you go. Here's the fastest-ever zigsprint run in all its silly glory:

This one in particular could be beaten almost effortlessly. It took about ten tries and isn't particularly well optimized. Just get to zig:10, die, grab the orb, win. I'd do it again, but I don't want it to end up as less turns than my actually fun Violet Keep run.
EDIT: For the sake of completeness, I went and did linesprint also, though that one is probably the least impressive of the bunch. All I did was take a VSMo*Chei through without entering extended endgame. Hard to do much creative stuff in linesprint, though I'm sure this score could be beaten convincingly.

That really is the end, though. The fastest pitsprint run is as close to unbeatable in current Crawl as it is possible for a run to be, since it relied heavily on old Elyvilon and some awe-inspiring powers. Meatsprint and Thunderdome are, of course, speedrun-proof. It's been fun, though! Sprints have a lot of fun speedrun potential.
