CIP: MdFi Can he do it?

I'm a bit weary of this computer now it gave me a large shield it's only done this a hand full of times before and everytime it has found a way to troll me and make me sad . Luckily I have eluded it's traps I saw what it tried to do on Lair:7 with about 11 Elephants but I escape hatched out. Anyways this character is turning quite demonic chewing through just about everything with relative ease with some heroism and rarely (never yet) finesse added for flavor. Maybe it's his whip that's been enchanted to all get out (frankly becuase Oka thinks I use axes and staves and bows).

His armor is a bit of a question Oka gave me a robe (big surprise the game trolls me after the large shield by giving me the lighest armor with some of the best enchantments). Is it worth switching and losing like 12 AC just to get all of that jazz I mean MR and Rage (if he can evoke it I had a big problem and YASD with a guy not evoking it a few games ago vs some centaurs I could always spam wands like they're going out of style since I swim in them as well as my decks). Anyways I'm looking at getting an Int+4 Acc/Dmg+3 ring for like 700 gold soon from the store on D:12 where I got my other ring. I think the other store has some Stlth++ boots with something else on them too for like 600 gold or so. I don't think not being able to cast will be a problem since I can still evoke and use scrolls which is all I normally do anyways.

EDIT: YAS FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFing D Slime Creatures!!!!!!!!!! I HATE slime creatures!!!! I officially hate them more than crystal spear + sigmund + grinder an enormous slime creature freaking 1 shotted me at full health on D:17 or so since I had no rPois to take on hive and XL:15 i've learend isn't enough for orcish mines swamp I could have tried snake pit was also out of the question without rPois. I just KNEW the computer would troll me after giving me a large shield especially after getting a ring of slaying (with a bit of extra int) it ALWAYS does this I swear. Everytime I get a large shield or a ring of slaying it finds a way to troll me and it makes me want to learn to hex edit or something. :'( Why does the computer hate me? I didn't even derp this time either. I mean look at all that stuff he got killed with. :'( Oka decied I use darts and bows and useless junk like that I can't believe him. Javelins were my main ranged weapon especially those javelins of returning I took from Urug.
