I have Finished Orc Mines (level 3 I found +14 plutonium sword {Contam Stlth-}). Other decent weapons. My stats are screwy since I found the vamp spear very early on and it served me well. I planned on going axe for Trog gifts, but I then found the long sword and then plutonium sword so I went with it. That put me into throwing, but Trog is good for throwing things.

My rings are pretty good, still need a good amulet. My armour is OK and needs some work. I have put all my decent stuff in inventory for advice on what to do.

Orc is done, Lair is done and I think it's looking pretty good so far.

What advice would you give for the next stages of my character?

Right now: stop training crossbows. Nothing good will come from splitting your exp and gifts between that and throwing, which you are already invested in. You don't have to train every crappy artifact weapon you find. Get long blades to min delay and stick with it.

Yea, the boots are gone.

Crossbow training is off. Just picked up some points after I found it and carried to the stash. I am sticking with throwing.

I'll stick with long blades, how good is the one I have? Are the odds of finding better very high?

Should I wear the blink plate and wear the control ring? The -3 slay looks bad, but maybe I am being too critical of it.

No, -3 slay it's bad, the AC of that plate ins't so much bigger that yours and as long as you play a little decent +blink isn't so much useful.
The plutonium sword is the best two hander in the game, hands down. The only thing that would be better it's a +9 vamp triple sword against everything (or battle axe as you have already invested so much in that) or a +9 AM triple sword against toughest spellcaster (in a 3 runes games I'd strictly use AM over Plutonium only against OoF or particularly tough aliches)

I'd actually use those boots, but you need to play much more carefully than I usually do to make it sensible :)
