This was by NO MEANS, a sure thing. I got knocked down to one--1--hit point in pandemonium (of something like 179 (statue form)), at one point.

Beyond that, it was pretty slow 'n steady.

Congrats do you care for posting the dump please? Those are fun/interesting to read sometimes

Why are you not worshiping any god? The dump says you got penance from Trog when you learned spells, but I can find no mention of you switching to a different god.

When you get too much penance from gods (ie keep using fire with Dith, learning/casing spells with Trog...), they abandon you !

Congrats, now do the same without abandoning Trog:)

I understand leaving trog, but why never pick up another god? Missed opportunity for another Trog->Chei game, imho.

The reason I didn't pick up another god is . . . kinda' silly. --I just couldn't choose, between Siffy-Baby, and Ashenzari!! I've never gone with Chei. . . . I had a copy of the necronomicon---so no Kiku. . . . I _thought_ about Vehumet, and maybe a ziggurat attempt. . . . (No--TPV--NO!! --Take that kind of risk with a troll, or an ogre. (. . . .) )

Truth is, muchachos---I just couldn't make up my mind. (!!)



Vault 5 was REALLY tough, BTW. _Three_ vault wardens, causin' grief, after I poked my head down for a look. . . .

This was the _first_ felid, that I was able to take the Royal Jelly with, in version 15. Necromutation--_4_ scrolls of torment--followed by a healthy dose of glaciate, or two. Risky. --Mutation resistance in the lichform, clarity in the amulet, paralyzation "resistance" in the magic resistance . . . all left me wide open to acid. And there were a LOT of acid blobs about. Dodgy---pun intended. (. . . .)

My brain is very tired---I hope this is a comprehensible post. :p

If you can't decide what god to pick then Makhleb is much, much better than no god because even if you ignore his invocations then he gives hp on kills - and killing things is what you do all the time while fighting things.

You're absolutely right. All you guys were right---I SHOULD have picked another god. I was thinking. . . . Not very far along, Ashenzari will keep one's "eyes and mind clear." This would've enabled me, to have both acid [resistance] _and_ clarity, fighting the Royal Jelly. TPV not always all that smart. Party down, Dudes!!
