CIP: DsBe, 3 runes in - advice for extended
Playing a DemonSpawn Berserker, and have 3 runes done (Spider, Shoals and vaults). Also cleared out Lair, Orc, Elven and currently exploring Depths.
Any advice on next steps appreciated. I guess my main decision at the moment is do I stick with Trog or convert to another god? I've pretty much every spell book in the game so I could maybe aim to get Tornado (plus utilities like blink/apportation) online .... but my intelligence isn't high enough I fear to get end game spells available. God choice may also influence next major decision - where to go next?
We're right about that time when I'll start getting mutations and/or abilities reduced on a regular basis if I'm not wearing the right amulet at the right time - and on my previous 5+ runers I've always gone for magic and had Necromutation to avoid some of the nastier attacks/death curses and the like. I've no idea how you manage that (I guess amulets and rings are enough?) on a melee only character? So ... any advice welcome
