YAVP: HEWz 15 Rune, 12 Zigs, 27 All skills, All Unrandarts

As the title says, this absolutely stupid goal is quite long to achieve. I risked death in the 24th Zig level, wearing a cursed -4 Plate armour with no remove curse.

I can't decide what i should do to make this all safer, consider i have 2 Crystal plates, a dragon king armor and every single spell in my Lair Stash.

I'd like to get a Orange Crystal Plate, and probably i will have to go to Chei to get my kinda "Perfect Char", probably doing at least 10/20 ZIgs to get it.

Suggestions well liked, it's also my first post endgame online.

Yep, that's a real message.

I never really noticed it until i almost died in Zig:21, before the 24th floor... i went Necro + Dragoncall against the angel floor, didn't thought about it having like 40 sacred beings or more.... I used death's door 4 times in a row.
All because i lost my rHubris, right now i got it back.

By the way, i was following you too because you're executions and dedications to a single combo really reminded of me, i tried DEWz for like 200 times offline.

Never really got it off until i had my first 15rune with it, but getting level 9 castable before the first rune is awesome


A little Edit: I cleaned my first whole zig, this is the result. I am still undecided between keeping Sif Muna or going Chei for that PRECIOUS Str.
Loving my new shield BTW.

That is simply amazing. So when you train armor and shields that high, are there still penalties for heavier armor? I'm amazed you can survive with a robe through all that. But you obviously know how to play that combination of god and skills very well.

With 25 shield you can use every shield with no penalty, but even 27 armor isn't going to completely remove the penalty for the heavier armour, specially with low Strength.


But Defenses are definitely overrated, I'm not scared of physical damage, but I'm scared of Smiting, Hellfire, Dispel Undead, that bullshit reflect damage of the unborns, or the rare Panlord with silence surrounded by other Panlords that spam you with fire storms and glaciate.

I didn't even notice Mnoleg while tabbing his floor until I heard the sound of Mnoleg death from the #crawl...

But I'm sure I'm going to die for some random idiocy

I never understood plans like this. You'll be grinding in Pan endlessly, raising skills you'll never use. I cannot imagine anything less fun in Crawl.

The reason you aren't scared of physical damage is because you have extremely good defenses already, so calling defenses overrated is kind of strange since this character has not neglected them (which is good play). Stuff like smiting and hell fire exists because on a long enough time line nearly all characters can get extremely good defenses and there need to be things that have the potential to damage you consistently, regardless of AC/EV/SH.

I never did that, I guess it's more because I actually love doing Zigs and extended, and because I never won a 15-rune online. I guess it's because I like cool characters, like getting spellcasting to 27 first because I liked the Arch mage name...

Well, right now the character is very over leveled but the first time I went into extended I had no shield, 25 Evasion and 15 AC. I still never had problems with melee, because of being a wizard means you need to kill everything before it gets to you.

Offense is the best defense :) But I'm not very experienced, so I admit I am probably wrong :)
