Fun character, I wasn't expecting to do half this well. SpAs just can't die if you're playing carefully, and by the time I picked up Veh I had enough core skills/Spellcasting/permafood for a leisurely transition to conjurations. The staff of energy was really a game changer. Having spirit with the bear hat and Veh magic-on-kills gave this char sort of a Vine Stalker feel. And I never truly forsook my covert heritage--I got a sweet stab on Geryon with that holy cutlass for example.

The best part of this game was gratuitously casting orb of destruction as a Spriggan. Seriously, that spell is already my favorite, and when you can run nearly as fast as one then things get zany. One trick is the high arc rainbow shot loop-de-loop double strike: even if your orb misses it has a chance to loop around with the right conditions, and you can sandwich your foe between two of them! See that ancient lich in "vanquished creatures: other"? He, I, and my Servitor got into an epic game of dodgeball on Zot 5, which led to him blowing himself up with his own orb! 100% satisfying.

I did Tomb and Pan but chickened out for Hell. Pan's a cinch when you're twice as fast as everybody else, not to mention super stealthy and magical. I didn't actually kill Cerebov or Gloorx Vloq, and Cerebov made a reappearance during the orb run even. I also cleared a holy Pan to find the demonic rune, which was real cool. And one Pan level had a frikkin multicolored demon disco hall!! This game I tell ya.
