So after about 30 mummies and this depressing death:
I managed to ascend!
I initially tried MuSu, but found I dislike summons. MuCj was better, but I also found it unpleasant (apart from OOD - what a fun spell).
So I decided to just go with a melee build, and that worked out fine. Dith is non-optimal but I wanted to try him out. Shadow attacks were slightly useful, as was fog on run. I spent a lot of exp getting CTele online, which paid off in V5.

I initially tried MuSu, but found I dislike summons. MuCj was better, but I also found it unpleasant (apart from OOD - what a fun spell).
So I decided to just go with a melee build, and that worked out fine. Dith is non-optimal but I wanted to try him out. Shadow attacks were slightly useful, as was fog on run. I spent a lot of exp getting CTele online, which paid off in V5.
