Staff of Wucad Mu and the Obsidian Axe were the best finds, though I had unrands coming out my ears from the Zigs and was bound to find them all eventually. Obsidian Axe is essentially emergency Clarity-on-tap, freeing up an amulet slot for something else. I was able to tab through Pan with it and then cleared a Zig with it for fun. No damage spells, but I used Aura of Abjuration, Ozocubu's Armour, Phase Shift and Haste. Probably couldn't do it without those though.
I used all my potions of mutation and scummed for mutagenic chunks in Zigs (ghost moths, apocalypse crabs, mana vipers) to get Wild Magic 1. Together with the Archmagi hat and 50+ Int I have max spellpower on every spell. Doing it the way I did wasted about 10 potions of beneficial mutation... should have saved them for after I got WM.
I was going to ascend but I think I'll leave the character open for the moment in case I feel like doing more Zig runs. Maybe I'll eventually get all the unrands?
