YAVP 5 rune VSWn of Chei
Posted: Friday, 16th May 2014, 00:57So after having far too many early splats, I decided to roll a Wn and Chei, just to see what would happen.
Some things:
1) Found Tornado fairly early, so was training Air in the hopes that I'd push into extended. A few greater mummies even with rN+++ dissuaded me in Crypt. Caused me to ignore Invocations which became noticeable in Vaults:5. Also I didn't wish to tempt the RNG any further after it dropped me right next to the abbyssal rune upon hitting Abyss:3
2) After clearing Lair, primary branches were a breeze. Didn't really have any issues until Zot where moths of wrath almost ended me.
3) Yes, I carried a lot of Curing pots. Felt after Swamp and Snake carrying a rPois ring would be less advantageous than holding on to Curing on call. Preservation further made me hold on to it.
4) Ascending sucked running at 3 auts a tile.

Some things:
1) Found Tornado fairly early, so was training Air in the hopes that I'd push into extended. A few greater mummies even with rN+++ dissuaded me in Crypt. Caused me to ignore Invocations which became noticeable in Vaults:5. Also I didn't wish to tempt the RNG any further after it dropped me right next to the abbyssal rune upon hitting Abyss:3
2) After clearing Lair, primary branches were a breeze. Didn't really have any issues until Zot where moths of wrath almost ended me.
3) Yes, I carried a lot of Curing pots. Felt after Swamp and Snake carrying a rPois ring would be less advantageous than holding on to Curing on call. Preservation further made me hold on to it.
4) Ascending sucked running at 3 auts a tile.
