This is my most successful character so far. He destroyed most of the game, up until spider. Not sure if due to the trunk ranged changes, but with the slaying ring equipped, I rarely needed to switch to my mace, the bow took most things out before they got to me. One thing I lacked this game was any resists. It didn't cause my death (I died trying to escape from the horde of spiders), but it definitely didn't help any. I tried evocations for the first time with this character.
What hampered me the most was not really knowing what to do with my skills past a certain point, and not really knowing where to go/what was good. It'll probably be a long process to get to that point. I use the knowledge bots extensively, but there not always helpful.
Any thoughts/advice on future runs?
