Would you wear this GDA?

I'm playing a Minotaur Death Knight and I've put quite a lot of exp into getting haste online. It's now castable at 10% with scale mail.

Now the game has given me a nice +11 GDA. I don't really need the resistances but it does give a nice boost to AC (26 up to 43).

What would you do? Wear the armor and forget about haste or simply ignore it?

I would probably wear it (and still try to dodge/cast Haste, the latter might require wizardry in form of ring or staff).

Edit: you have a wand of hasting, do you have a lot of scrolls of recharging? Because if you do, you might even skip the spell.

I do have a few scrolls of recharging (5 in my stash).

Even with Wiz ring haste is at 100% fail. With Wiz staff too I can get it down to 95% ;-)

I just don't want to have wasted all that exp. on spell casting and charms

A wand of hasting and 5 scrolls of recharging is more than enough for a 3 rune game. Though Haste spell is still nice as you can cast it at your Yred minions.

Wearing GDA means you have to raise charms to 20 or so, a bit more if you want to remove the ring of wizardry in favor of another ring. Not really a super-big deal. There's a lot of xp still available in the game. But with the wand available, the spell is not a priority at all. It can wait until you're going for your sixth Rune or so.

You don't need haste assuming you're trying to 3-rune. Not even the wand or pots, to be honest. If I were you I'd wear the GDA and forget about Haste, but that's just me. It really boils down to whether you feel like your investment in charms is too much to stop pumping it now.

I'd do it, and I'd train armor up, which will help lower the penalities. You'll still need to raise charms about 4-5 levels, and if you have wizardry that's a good idea. But you have plenty of time left; also try to upgrade to a glaive or bardiche if possible. That halbred is pretty nice for a halbred, but it's a halbred.
